United Wire’s support and separator screens operate within precious metal recovery catchment packs in ammonia oxidation plants world-wide.

Although other alloys can be used, our standard product is woven with Fecral, an Iron-Chrome-Aluminium alloy, which is ideally suited to the high operating temperatures.

Screens can be supplied in segments (eighths, quarters or semi-circles), as single piece circles, panels, or as roll form cloth for customer processing.

Full circles are supplied with or without welded seams (subject to size) up to 6500mm diameter, and by weaving with a lighter than standard gauge of wire we can supply seamless circles up to 5000mm in diameter, and wider by special arrangement.
